About YEF
Youth Education Foundation (YEF) traces its history back to International Education Center which was initially founded by a group of international scholars who were concerned with education, economic development, and humanitarian aids in 1979.
In 2006, YEF was approved by the US Federal Government and officially became a nonprofit, tax exempt 501(C)(3) organization. Through almost twenty years' growth and development, YEF has become a quite active and influential nonprofit organization not only around USA but also internationally, particularly in the field of education enhancement, cultural/educational exchange promotion, and humanitarian contributions. Especially since the beginning of the epidemic, YEF has helped collect and package various donated supplies from governments, charitable organizations, and manufacturers, and organize and transport to hospitals, school, and local communities.
We believe all youth can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Education Enhancement
With the urban-rural dichotomy still as a severe problem in many countries, YEF will continue to take education as the key solution to the unequal status quo. Through our long-term study and practice in rural area, we found that the sustainable development of rural construction is heavily reliant on local members with a high collectively educational level and scientific development perspective. Thus, we will stick to creating a life-long learning environment at rural areas so as to enhance the learning ability and public consciousness of local people.
Cultivation and Cultural Exchange promotion
Bestowed by its name, YEF is with a view to Education for Youth. Since young generation is and will always be the main force to lead one country's tomorrow. We always attach tremendous importance to youth cultivation.
For instance, YEF has the authorization of acting as the Agency on behalf of the Youth Assembly at the United Nations from 2009 through 2019. YEF is specifically responsible for setting up a youth delegate with selected outstanding youth from different Countries and Regions.
YEF has been devoted to wide range of cultural exchange activities. We deliberately formulated the "International Cultural Expansion Plan" aiming to further people-to-people exchanges, enhance international cultural recognition among US folks as well as strengthen US and other countries partnership.
Humanitarian Aid
YEF has helped collect and package various donated supplies from governments, charitable organizations, and manufacturers, like canned food, clothing, tents, medical equipments, & etc., and organize and transport to hospitals, school, and local communities.
